The Forgotten- releasing vulnerable children and young people into destiny
Through the work of Stuart & Liz Watkins we have over some years developed friendship with a church in Bulgaria and have been able to regularly send teams to work in some of the orphanages. Over the last year or so the church, inspired by Ann O’Hare’s work in Mission Music, has been developing a youth centre so they can work with the young people of the town. This year we have been able to send finances to them to finish the centre and open it in March 2009.
In 2007 Karen Lowe and Deb Chapman went wild wandering to the poorest country in Europe, Moldova. They turned up in the country with no connections but God led them to some key people who were able to put them in the picture about the trafficking of young girls, usually out of orphanages and also trafficking of children for body parts.
There is more for us to do Moldova but we are praying for God’s timing and next steps in the journey.
